Custom Homes in Wilmington, NC

We purchased our home in May from Horizon and knew when we walked in the first time, it was a well built house. It had been built the year before and used as a model. We were so impressed with the quality throughout as we could not find any cracks, separating molding or issues from settling. The floor plan has features that have made us be able to enjoy space and convenience.
We worked with Robin, Joda and Ax during the process and felt they were attentive to our buying needs and addressing  questions about the house. So glad we got it.

If we were to build another home,  Horizon Homes would be our first choice.

Building our custom home was one of the biggest decisions we’ve ever made, and choosing the right builder made all the difference. Horizon Homes built the loveliest and sturdiest home we’ve ever owned. My husband and I have had 4 homes built over our lifetime and our HH is top quality and the favorite of all by far!  We highly recommend Robin and her team to make your dreams come true.

Horizon Homes built us a first-class home, and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. Robin was wonderful to work with throughout the design process and while selecting finishes. She was incredibly helpful, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile — which she did for us several times.

Joda and Ax were excellent from start to finish during construction. They were especially helpful in offering suggestions and guidance when changes came up during the building process. Their experience and willingness to work with us helped make the construction process go smoothly, and they continued to provide outstanding support even after we moved in.

Overall, our experience with Horizon Homes was exceptional, and we truly appreciated working with such a great group of people. We would highly recommend Horizon Homes to anyone looking to build a quality home, and we would absolutely use them again!

We knew from past experience how stressful building a home could be, so we were hesitant to take that path again to fulfill our dream of owning a home on the North Carolina coast. From our very first meeting with Robin Hackney at Horizon Homes, however, we knew this experience would be different. She truly listened to us, understood our vision, and made us feel confident we were in the right hands.

Horizon Homes offered several beautifully designed floor plans that we were able to customize to fit our needs and lifestyle. They were incredibly accommodating, thoughtfully incorporating our ideas into the final design to create a home that feels uniquely ours.
